Black Forest Solid Cologne
Support the men in your life with this grounding and earthy, natural cologne.
A favorite of the men at Team Aromatics, this DIY solid cologne has the intoxicating, woodsy scent of black spruce and cedarwood, with subtle hints of orange and mint.

Directions
STEP 1
Put a glass or Pyrex measuring cup into a pot that’s about 1/4 full of simmering water. The water will heat the measuring cup from the outside.
STEP 2
Melt the beeswax and jojoba oil together in the Pyrex. You can stir gently with a glass stirring rod or a stainless steel spoon.
STEP 3
While the blend is melting, combine your essential oil drops in a small glass bowl.
STEP 4
When the beeswax and jojoba are melted, remove the Pyrex from heat and add the essential oils. Stir gently.
STEP 5
Pour the melted blend into 2 - 1 oz aluminum salve tins.
STEP 6
It will solidify pretty quickly, but be aware that it will continue to firm up over the next 24 hours.
Safety and dilution
This blend was created at a 3% dilution. We also recommend a small patch test to ensure there is no skin sensitivity.
Kid safety: For kids between the ages of 5 and 10, we recommend 4 drops Norway pine, 2 drops black spruce, 3 drops sweet orange, 1 drop cedarwood indian, and 1 drop spearmint.
Shelf Life
The ingredient with the shortest shelf life remaining becomes the shelf life of the entire blend.
