Pumpkin & Peru Balsam Face Mask

This blend is a great exfoliator and your skin will thank you after this pampering, smoothing face treatment.

This delightful and nourishing pumpkin face mask has natural fruit enzymes and vitamins that help refresh and rejuvenate skin while fighting skin damage. Kaolin clay is gentle for sensitive skin, and helps detox the skin making it feel fresh and clean!

Ingredients

2 tbsps of Pumpkin puree

1/4 tsp of Pumpkin spice

Directions

STEP 1

Blend together pureed pumpkin and vegetable glycerin with a small wire whip or spoon.

STEP 2

Add dry pumpkin spice such as cinnamon, ginger, and clove to pureed pumpkin.

STEP 3

Measure out white kaolin clay in a small bowl making sure clumps are broken up.

STEP 4

Add clay to the pumpkin blend little by little as the final amount of clay might vary, stirring well after each clay addition.

STEP 5

Finally, and make sure this is added last, add 1 tsp of Peru Balsam Infused Jojoba oil. Add a small drizzle a little at a time blending well.

STEP 6

If the blend is too thick, add more pureed pumpkin. If the blend is too thin add more kaolin clay. The final product should be a smooth, easy to spread consistency like frosting.

STEP 7

Gently smooth onto clean face, neck, and decollete. Spread remaining over hands. Let sit on skin for approximately 10 -15 minutes or until the skin starts to feel tight. Rinse off with warm water, massaging face and neck as you gently exfoliate. Finish with a warm washcloth and spray with your favorite hydrosol or toner.

Safety and dilution

We recommend a small patch test to ensure there is no skin sensitivity.

Kid safety: Safe for kids 10 and over.

Shelf Life

This is a one time use blend, but if you are making for later, or there is some leftover, it will keep in the fridge for up to a week. If it gets to dry, feel free to add more peru balsam infused jojoba.
