Directions

STEP 1

Place both the beeswax and the st johns wort oil in a Pyrex glass measuring cup. Fill a small soup pot 1/4 of the way with water. Place the Pyrex in the pot of water and medium heat wait for the beeswax to melt into the st johns wort. This takes about 5 minutes on a gentle-medium heat. Be sure none of the water from the pot boils into the Pyrex container.

STEP 2

Take the melted oils off of the heat and add the essential oils, stirring well with a glass stir rod.

STEP 3

Immediately pour into an aluminum tin or a 1 oz glass jar.

Safety and dilution

This blend was created at a 3% dilution. St Johns Wort can be phototoxic, so use caution if going out into the sun. If taking blood thinners, use caution with the Tulsi as it is considered an anticoagulant. We also recommend a small patch test to ensure there is no skin sensitivity.

Kid safety: Safe for kids 10 and over.

Shelf Life

The ingredient with the shortest shelf life remaining becomes the shelf life of the entire blend.
