Cedarwood Atlas Essential Oil
Cedrus atlantica
Cedarwood Atlas (Cedrus atlantica) is steam distilled, and every batch on this page comes from certified organic material grown in Morocco.
This is a sesquiterpene oil through and through. Sesquiterpenes average close to 69% of the profile, led by beta-himachalene at typically 27-46% in our batches, with alpha-himachalene around 14-18% and gamma-himachalene steady near 9-11%. Small amounts of the atlantones, which are ketones, round things out. That heavy, woody chemistry is what gives Atlas Cedarwood its deep base note aroma, the one people describe as relaxing and quietly secure. It is also a favorite in natural cleaning blends, and in closet sprays that help keep clothes protected.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page for you to read.
