White Turmeric Essential Oil
Curcuma zedoaria roscoe
White Turmeric is steam distilled from the roots and rhizomes of Curcuma zedoaria, a member of the ginger family. Our batches come from wildcrafted material in India and Nepal, and the aroma is fresh, earthy, and spicy, sitting low as a base note.
This is a ketone-rich oil. Curzerenone leads the way, typically 29-54% in our batches, and it's one of the calming sesquiterpene components White Turmeric is loved for. Camphor follows at about 5-10%, a component associated with a clear, focused mind. Smaller amounts of curzerene and
β-elemene round it out. In aromatherapy, White Turmeric is especially valued for supporting healthy digestion.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and each batch's full report lives right here on this page, so you can see exactly what's in the bottle you have.
