Orange Sweet Essential Oil

Sweet Orange is cold pressed from the rind of the fruit, and ours comes from certified organic groves in Italy, Spain, and South Africa. The botanical source is Citrus sinensis. The aroma is exactly what you'd hope for: sweet, fresh, light, and fruity.

Chemically this oil is almost all monoterpenes. d-Limonene leads by a wide margin, typically 86-95% in our batches, with β-myrcene following at around 2-4%. d-Limonene is the component people reach for when they want antioxidant and antibacterial support, and Sweet Orange is well loved for helping with mental clarity and focus. Small amounts of aldehydes like octanal and decanal round out that bright citrus character.
