Jasmine Absolute Essential Oil
Jasminum grandiflorum
Jasmine Absolute comes from the flowers of Jasminum grandiflorum, grown organically in India. Ours is extracted with solvents (that's what makes it an absolute) and we also carry steam distilled material. The aroma is sweet, floral, exotic, sitting in the middle to base of a blend.
Esters make up the largest share of this oil, averaging around 42% across our batches. Benzyl acetate typically runs 10-17% and benzyl benzoate 9-16%. Then come the diterpenols, phytol and isophytol together near 17%, with a little linalool at roughly 3-7%. Jasmine is loved in aromatherapy for supporting emotional balance, and it has a skin-regenerative reputation too.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page, so you can see exactly what is in the bottle you have.
