Eucalyptus Dives Essential Oil

Eucalyptus Dives Essential Oil

Eucalyptus dives

Eucalyptus dives is steam distilled from the leaves, and our batches come from Australia, Eswatini, and South Africa, all certified organic or organically grown. You may hear it called "broad-leaf peppermint." The aroma is fresh and camphoraceous.

What makes this species its own thing is piperitone, a ketone that runs high here (typically 39-48% in our batches). Next comes α-phellandrene, a monoterpene, typically 17-30%. That pairing is why people reach for Dives when they want clear, easy breathing. α-Phellandrene is also appreciated for its antimicrobial character. There is very little 1,8-cineole in this oil, usually under 1%, which sets it apart from other eucalyptus oils. Smaller amounts of p-cymene and terpinen-4-ol round it out.

Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page.
