Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves of Eucalyptus globulus. Ours comes from organically grown trees in India and Madagascar, and it carries that sweet, woodsy, fresh, camphoraceous aroma you probably recognize right away.
The chemistry here is led by the oxide 1,8-cineole, typically 51-73% in our batches. That's the component most often turned to for supporting respiratory comfort and clear breathing, and it also brings antimicrobial and antispasmodic character. Behind it sit the monoterpenes: α-pinene (about 3-18%) and limonene (about 5-15%). α-Pinene is one of the most studied antimicrobial components in aromatherapy, and it shows up in a lot of the fresh, foresty oils people love.

Chemistry highlights
Batch EUP-112 is a two-family oil in practice: oxides at 59.69% and monoterpenes at 40.05% cover 99.74% of the profile, with the remaining 28 peaks splitting a quarter of a percent between them. The 1,8-cineole figure, 59.65%, sits almost exactly on the 60.43% mean of our other *Eucalyptus globulus* batches. What moves is limonene (d) at 18.43%, above the 5-15.07% we have recorded across our batches, and it pushes p-cymene and γ-terpinene toward the lower half of their usual spread. The monoterpenol fraction is unusually quiet: α-terpineol at 0.03% and terpinen-4-ol at 0.01% both fall under the minima we have logged, for a combined 0.07%. Worth noting the trace oxidation pairs riding alongside their parents, (E)-limonene oxide and both linalool oxides at 0.01-0.02%.
