Helichrysum Gymnocephalum Essential Oil

Helichrysum Gymnocephalum Essential Oil

Helichrysum gymnocephalum

Helichrysum gymnocephalum is steam distilled from the flowers of a plant in the Asteraceae family, and ours comes from Madagascar, both organically grown and wildcrafted. It smells fresh, herbaceous, and camphoraceous, sitting between a middle and a base note in a blend.

What stands out on the reports is how much 1,8-cineole this oil carries, typically 59-72% in our batches. That oxide is loved for its mucolytic, antimicrobial, and antispasmodic character, and it's the reason this oil is so often reached for to support respiratory comfort and clear breathing. There's a little terpinen-4-ol too (usually around 3-5%), the same cleansing monoterpenol that makes Tea Tree so useful, along with about 3% α-pinene.

Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page.
