Ravintsara Essential Oil
Cinnamomum camphora 1,8 cineole
Ravintsara is steam distilled from the leaves of Cinnamomum camphora ct 1,8-cineole, and ours comes from wildcrafted trees in Madagascar. The aroma is fresh and eucalyptus-like, camphoraceous in the best way.
The chemistry explains a lot of that. 1,8-cineole is the dominant component, typically 54-61% in our batches, and it is the molecule people reach for when they want clear breathing and respiratory comfort. Ravintsara also carries sabinene (typically 13-15%) and a bit of alpha-terpineol (around 5-9%), both monoterpene and monoterpenol company that keeps the oil bright rather than heavy. It is a favorite for supporting mental clarity and focus, so it earns a spot in diffuser blends when you want the room to feel awake.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and each batch report lives right here on this page.
