Helichrysum Bracteiferum Essential Oil

Helichrysum Bracteiferum Essential Oil

Helichrysum bracteiferum

Helichrysum bracteiferum is steam distilled from the flowers of a shrub in the Asteraceae family. Ours is wildcrafted in Madagascar. The aroma is fresh and herbaceous with a camphoraceous edge, and it sits between a middle and a base note in a blend, adding both warmth and staying power.

The chemistry leads with the oxide 1,8-cineole, typically 22-32% in our batches. That's the component people reach for when they want support for respiratory comfort and clear, easy breathing. β-pinene follows at roughly 9-13%. Then the sesquiterpenes step in: α-caryophyllene (humulene), around 7-10% where we see it, is associated with immune support, and β-caryophyllene brings the anti-inflammatory character this family is known for.

Every batch is independently GC-MS tested, and each batch's full report lives right here on this page.
