Lavender Essential Oil Artisan

Our Artisan Lavender is steam distilled from the flowers of Lavandula angustifolia, grown certified organic in the United States.

The chemistry here is classic lavender. Linalool runs typically 33-41% in our batches, with linalyl acetate typically 23-28% and a little terpinen-4-ol at around 5-7%. Those first two are the ones people study most, and they are loved for how calming they are; they help bring a sense of peace to your day. The esters are skin-soothing, and the monoterpenols round the oil out. Together they make Lavender one of the most versatile oils you can keep on the shelf.
