Thyme ct Linalool Essential Oil

Thyme ct Linalool is steam distilled from the flowering tops of Thymus vulgaris ct linalool, and ours comes from Spain, certified organic or organically grown. "Ct" is short for chemotype. Same plant species, different chemistry, depending on things like climate, soil, and altitude. This one is the soft one.

The reason is linalool, typically 33-50% in our batches. Linalool is a monoterpenol known for its calming character, and it makes this thyme much gentler than the phenol-rich types. Right behind it sits terpinen-4-ol at roughly 9-15%, the same molecule that gives Tea Tree its cleansing reputation. Monoterpenes like gamma-terpinene round out the fresh, herbaceous top.
