Lavender Infused Frankincense Essential Oil

This one is a quiet pairing: high-altitude lavender buds infused into frankincense resin oil, Lavandula angustifolia meeting Boswellia carterii. The frankincense comes from certified organic harvests in Somaliland. The aroma is balsamic and woodsy, grounding, with a whisper of lavender's calming bloom running through it.

Monoterpenes carry this oil, close to 73% of the profile in our recent batches. α-Pinene leads by a wide margin (roughly 32-47%), with d-limonene (about 5-16%) and β-myrcene (about 3-18%) filling in behind it. α-Pinene is one of the most studied monoterpenes we work with, valued for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory character, and d-limonene brings antimicrobial properties of its own. Frankincense is also a longtime favorite in daily skin care, supporting a clear, even skin tone, and this infusion is lovely for moments of stillness.
