Lavender Essential Oil Greece
Lavandula angustifolia
This Lavender comes from Greece, where the flowers are certified organic and steam distilled. Lavandula angustifolia is one of the most familiar oils in aromatherapy, and it's easy to see why once you look at what's inside it.
Our recent batch leads with linalool at about 31% and linalyl acetate at about 28%. Those two components have been studied a great deal, and they're the ones people reach for when they want something calming, the kind of oil that helps bring more ease into a day. The oil is also rich overall in monoterpenols (around 38%) and skin-soothing esters (around 35%), which is a big part of why lavender blends so easily into skin care. Smaller amounts of ocimenes give it a fresh, green lift.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page.
