Tamala Essential Oil
Cinnamomum tamala ct linalool
Tamala is steam distilled from the broad leaves of an evergreen tree, Cinnamomum tamala ct linalool. Ours is wildcrafted in Nepal. The aroma is soft and warm, a little spicy, with a cinnamon-caramel sweetness that feels exotic without taking over a blend.
The chemistry is why I reach for it. Linalool leads, typically 33-47% in our batches, and linalool is the component I look to when I want to calm and relax the nervous system. There's 1,8-cineole too, steady around 13-15%, which brings a clearing quality often used to support respiratory comfort and easy breathing. A little alpha-pinene (roughly 6-8%) adds to that fresh edge.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page.
