Argan Oil
Argania spinosa
Argan Oil (Argania spinosa L) is cold pressed from the fruit of the argan tree, which grows in the southwest of Morocco. Every batch we have brought in has come from Morocco, certified organic, and cold pressed. The women of Morocco's Berber communities have produced and used argan oil in skin care for centuries.
It is a yellow, slightly viscous liquid with a slightly nutty aroma. It dissolves in oil and alcohol, but not in water. Argan is a nourishing carrier that softens and moisturizes skin, helps maintain skin elasticity, and soothes skin that feels irritated. It is often described as antioxidant, skin regenerative, and toning. Shelf life is about two years. A patch test for sensitivity is a good idea.
Each batch is logged on this page with its country of origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available to download where we have them.

Batch ARG-124 of Argan Oil comes from certified organic groves in Morocco, where the kernels of Argania spinosa L are cold pressed to keep the oil close to its natural state. Cold pressing, without heat or solvents, preserves the soft golden color and the mild, faintly nutty aroma that makes this carrier such a pleasure to work with on skin and hair.
Pressed in March 2026 and best used within two years, this batch carries the cushioned, easily absorbed feel argan is known for, which makes it a comfortable base for diluting essential oils or for use on its own.
Every batch we bring in is independently analyzed, and the documentation for ARG-124, including its certificate of analysis, is available to download here so you can see exactly what is in the bottle you have.
