Arnica Infused Olive Oil

Arnica Infused Olive Oil

Arnica cordifolia

Arnica Infused Olive Oil starts with the flowers of Arnica cordifolia, steeped in olive oil until the oil takes on the plant's character. Every batch we have logged has come from the USA, from certified organic and wildcrafted arnica. Infusion is a slow, patient way to make a carrier, and it is one of my favorites.

The oil is a yellow liquid with a faint, slight olive oil aroma, so it blends into a massage oil or body butter without competing with your essential oils. It is soluble in alcohol and oil, and insoluble in water. Arnica infused oil is a good choice for soothing aches and discomfort in muscles and joints, and it nourishes skin along the way. Keep it for about three years. Avoid broken skin, and use it externally only.

Every batch is logged on this page with its origin and best-by date, with certificates of analysis available where we have them.
