Bay Laurel Hydrosol
Laurus nobilis
Bay Laurel Hydrosol is steam distilled from the leaves of Laurus nobilis. Every batch we have logged so far has come from the USA, from certified organic or organically grown plants, with distillations on our record going back to 2017.
The aroma is light, sweet, and slightly herbaceous. It looks like water, clear to light yellow, and it mixes readily into water and alcohol, so it works well in sprays, rinses, and blends where you want the plant in a very diluted form. Like other hydrosols, it is gentle, a mild way to bring a plant into your daily routine. Stored cool and closed, it keeps for about a year and a half.
Every batch we bring in is listed on this page with its country of origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available for download where we have them.
