Calendula Hydrosol
Calendula officinalis
Calendula Hydrosol comes from steam distilling Calendula officinalis, and every batch we have logged so far has been certified organic and distilled in the USA. A hydrosol is the aromatic water that comes off the still alongside the essential oil, so it carries the plant in a much gentler, more diluted form.
This is a mild one. Hydrosols like this can generally be misted straight onto skin without concern, and Calendula is a favorite for a hydrating mist that quenches, softens, and soothes delicate skin. It also has antimicrobial and purifying qualities, plus analgesic and immune-supporting character. Stored well, it keeps about a year and a half.
Every batch we bring in is listed on this page with its country of origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available to download where we have them.
