Carrot Seed Hydrosol

Carrot Seed Hydrosol is the water that comes through the still when Daucus carota is steam distilled. Every batch we have logged so far, five of them going back to 2019, has come from certified organic material grown in the USA.

This is a gentle hydrosol, and our own writing describes it as analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic. It shows up often in facial mists, where it is paired with other skin-supporting hydrosols to help calm and refresh the skin. In blending, it sits as a middle note and forms the heart of a blend. Hydrosols are more delicate than essential oils; store this one cool and plan on about a year and a half. Avoid during pregnancy.
