Bee Balm (Artisan) Essential Oil
Bee Balm is steam distilled from the flowers of Monarda fistulosa, and ours comes from certified organic plants grown in the USA. The aroma is minty, citrusy, and a little earthy, which makes it a bold herbal note in a blend.
What stands out in the lab reports is carvacrol, typically 40-45% in our batches, with thymol adding another 5-9%. Those two phenols are the ones aromatherapists reach for when they want purifying, antimicrobial character, including in the air of a room. Monoterpenes fill out much of the rest, with γ-terpinene around 16% and p-cymene around 9%. Bee Balm is also chosen for calming and comforting support, though phenols are strong, so it is best used well diluted.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and each batch's full report lives right here on this page.
