Calendula Infused Olive Oil
Calendula officinalis
Calendula Infused Olive Oil starts with the bright flowers of Calendula officinalis, steeped in olive oil until the oil takes on their character. Nothing is distilled or pressed here; the infusion does the work. Every batch we have logged has come from the USA, from certified organic, organically grown, and wildcrafted material.
It looks and smells like the olive oil it is made from: a yellow-greenish, semi viscous liquid with an aroma of olive oil. It is soluble in oil and alcohol, so it blends easily into salves, balms, and body oils. Calendula infused oil is nourishing, with anti-inflammatory and cicatrisant properties, and it makes a good base when you want to soothe aches and everyday discomfort. Kept cool and dark, it holds up for about three years.
Every batch is logged on this page with its origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available to download where we have them.
