Elderberry Hydrosol

Elderberry Hydrosol (Sambucus caerulea) is steam distilled, and what you have here is the water portion of that distillation. Hydrosols are aromatic waters with their own therapeutic character, gentler than essential oils but distilled from the same plants. Every batch we have logged, eight of them going back to 2017, has come from certified organic material grown in the USA.

This is a gentle hydrosol. Our own materials describe elder distillate as astringent and immunostimulant, with diuretic qualities, and note that it is well suited to supporting emotional balance and a sense of calm. Keep it cool and use it within about a year and a half. Caution is advised for those with autoimmune conditions.
