Hops Essential Oil Juicy Fruitbomb

Hops essential oil is steam distilled from the flowers of Humulus lupulus, a climbing plant in the Cannabaceae family. Ours is conventionally grown in the USA, and this Juicy Fruitbomb selection has the bright, fruity quality the name suggests.

The chemistry is monoterpene-dominant, and one molecule does most of the talking: β-myrcene, typically 49-68% in our batches. Behind it sit two sesquiterpenes, α-caryophyllene (typically 8-13%) and β-caryophyllene (typically 5-7%), with a small scattering of esters that add to the fruitiness. Hops is valued in aromatherapy for its calming, sedative character, and it's a thoughtful choice when you want something comforting for a body that has been working hard.
