Lemon Thyme Oil
Thymus ct citriodorus
Lemon Thyme (Thymus ct citriodorus) is steam distilled from the aerial parts of certified organic plants grown in the USA. The aroma is fresh, herbaceous, and citrusy all at once.
What stands out in the batch we've analyzed is geraniol, at about 32%, with monoterpenols together making up roughly 42% of the oil. Monoterpenols are the family known for being skin-supportive, immune-balancing, and steadying for the nervous system, and they tend to be well tolerated. There's citral here too (geranial around 12%, neral around 8%), the pair loved for its antifungal character. Citral-rich oils can be irritating to skin, so dilute this one well.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page. You can read the chemistry yourself before you blend.
