Lemon Thyme Hydrosol

Lemon Thyme Hydrosol

Thymus x citriodorus

Lemon thyme (Thymus x citriodorus) is a small, shrubby herb in the mint family, and this hydrosol is the aromatic water collected when the plant is steam distilled. Every batch we have logged, nine of them going back to 2017, has come from certified organic growers in the USA.

Hydrosols are much milder than essential oils, so they can be used generously, even on sensitive skin and on children. Our own materials describe lemon thyme hydrosol as antimicrobial, antifungal, antioxidant, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory, which makes it a gentle way to support everyday wellness. There are no known safety issues. Kept cool and closed, it holds up for about a year and a half.

Each batch is listed on this page with its country of origin and best-by date, and where a certificate of analysis exists, you can download it.
