Neroli/Petitgrain Essential Oil

Neroli/Petitgrain Essential Oil

Citrus aurantium var. amara

This is a co-distill of the bitter orange tree, Citrus aurantium var amara, so you get the blossom and the leaf together in one steam distillation. Ours is organically grown in South Africa. The aroma is floral and citrusy with a fresh, herbaceous edge.

The chemistry is ester-forward. Linalyl acetate runs typically 45-51% in our batches, with linalool at 25-28% and a little α-terpineol at 4-6%. That combination of skin-soothing esters and monoterpenols is exactly what this oil is loved for. Linalool is a calming molecule, and the oil as a whole is a favorite for supporting emotional balance.

Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page, so you can see the numbers behind the oil in your hands.
