Peru Balsam Infused Jojoba Oil
Peru Balsam Infused Jojoba Oil begins with the aromatic resin of Myroxylon balsamum var. pereirae, a tree native to El Salvador. The resin is infused into jojoba oil, which gives you the character of the balsam in a base that spreads easily and keeps well. Every batch we have logged so far has come from El Salvador, organically grown.
Peru Balsam has a long history in skin care. It is soothing and protective for the skin, and it is valued as skin regenerative and antioxidant, with antimicrobial and antifungal properties too. Many people find it grounding and emotionally balancing in perfume blends. It is gentle, though a patch test for sensitivity is always a good idea. Shelf life is about three years.
Each batch is logged right here with its country of origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available to download where we have them.
