Pomegranate Seed Oil

Pomegranate Seed Oil (Punica granatum) is cold pressed from the seeds of the fruit. It takes a lot of seeds to press a little oil, which is part of why this one feels special. Nearly all of our batches have come from Turkey, with one from Canada, and they have been certified organic or organically grown.

The oil is light yellow to orange and semi-viscous, with a light, mildly sweet scent. It is soluble in oil and alcohol, so it blends easily into facial serums, balms, and body butters. Pomegranate Seed Oil is nourishing and antioxidant rich, with skin regenerative character, and it can help calm inflammation. Stored cool, dry, and out of sunlight, it keeps for about two years.

Every batch we receive is logged on this page with its origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available to download where we have them.
