Rhassoul Clay
Rhassoul Clay is a mineral clay, mined rather than pressed or distilled. The batches we have logged so far have come from Morocco, where this clay has long been part of everyday cleansing and bathing traditions.
We reach for clays when we're making face masks. They're dry ingredients, so they blend well with water-based things like yogurt or honey, and they give you a base you can customize for the kind of skin-loving mask you want that day. A little goes a long way. Rhassoul has no determined shelf life, so store it dry and closed and it will keep. As with any new skincare ingredient, a patch test for sensitivity is a good idea.
Every batch we bring in is logged right here on this page with its country of origin, so you can always see where your clay came from.
