Roman Chamomile Hydrosol

Roman Chamomile Hydrosol is steam distilled from the flowers. Our batches so far have come from certified organic farms in the USA, distilled between 2023 and 2025. A hydrosol is the aromatic water that comes through with the steam, so it carries the plant in a gentler, more diluted form than the essential oil does.

The aroma is slightly sweet and light, and the liquid itself is water-like and transparent. It is soluble in both water and alcohol, which makes it easy to work into water-based blends and sprays. Roman Chamomile is valued in aromatherapy for its soothing, anti-inflammatory character, and that gentle quality is what most people notice first.

Every batch we bring in is logged on this page with its country of origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available to download where we have them.
