The chemistry of Rosa x centifolia/Pelargonium graveolens leans heavily on monoterpenols, close to 47% of the oil on average. Citronellol leads, typically 24-30% in our batches, with geraniol usually 9-19% and a soft ester layer from citronellyl formate at roughly 9-13%. That combination is part of why this oil is loved for cooling hot situations, for calming, and for inspiring a joyful outlook. This blend of Rosa x centifolia/Pelargonium graveolens carries the soft, honeyed floral character you would hope for, with the sweet rosy lift of damask rose settling into the greener, slightly minty depth of geranium. GC-MS analysis of this batch identified 49 components. Citronellol leads at 32.04 percent, followed by geraniol at 15.4 percent and citronellyl formate at 6.61 percent.
