Rosemary ct Verbenone Essential Oil
Rosmarinus officinalis ct verbenone
Rosemary ct verbenone is steam distilled from the aerial parts of Rosmarinus officinalis. Ours comes from certified organic plants grown in South Africa, and it carries the fresh, herbaceous, camphoraceous aroma that people know rosemary for.
This chemotype is a nicely balanced oil. Monoterpenes lead, with α-pinene typically 15-21% in our batches, and α-pinene is the component loved for its antimicrobial character and its comforting quality after exertion. Camphor runs around 13-17% and verbenone, the marker for this chemotype, is usually 7-12%. There is also a soft ester note from bornyl acetate at roughly 9-13%. Aromatherapists reach for this oil in skin and scalp blends, and for a clear, focused feeling in the air.
Every batch we bring in is independently GC-MS tested, and the full report for each one lives right here on this page.
