St John's Wort Hydrosol

St John's Wort Hydrosol (Hypericum perforatum) is the water that comes through the still during steam distillation, carrying the gentle water-soluble parts of the plant. Every batch we have logged has come from certified organic material grown in the USA, distilled between 2017 and 2019.

St John's wort has been used for generations to calm nerves and anxious feelings, and it has a reputation for being mentally and emotionally uplifting. The plant is also known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and skin regenerative character, which is part of why people reach for it when they want something soothing and supportive. Hydrosols are mild by nature, so this is a soft way to work with the plant. Plan on using it within about a year and a half.
