Sweet Almond Oil

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis) is cold pressed from the fruit of the almond tree. Every batch we have brought in has come from Spain, and all of it has been certified organic. It pours out as a light yellow liquid with a light, nutty aroma that stays quietly in the background of a blend.

This is a nourishing carrier oil, and one of the most useful ones to keep on the shelf. It is anti-inflammatory, skin regenerative, and tonic, which makes it a comfortable choice for massage oils, roll-ons, and body blends. It is soluble in alcohol and oil, and insoluble in water. Shelf life is about two years. We recommend a patch test for sensitivity.

Every batch is logged on this page with its country of origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available to download where we have them.
