Turmeric Hydrosol

Turmeric Hydrosol is the water that comes through the still when Curcuma longa is steam distilled. Every batch we have logged, going back to 2017, has been distilled in the USA from certified organic plants. That is ten batches from one country, which is unusual and something we are glad to be able to say.

Hydrosols are the gentle side of distillation, and this one carries the quiet, grounded quality people associate with turmeric. Our Turmeric Essential Oil, distilled from the same plant, is valued in aromatherapy for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties and for soothing aches and discomfort. Stored well, this hydrosol keeps for about two years.

Every batch is listed on this page with its origin and best-by date, and certificates of analysis are available to download where we have them.
